From vision to reality - a journey through time
CuroTech was founded in 1998 by Morten Heintz and Øyvind Reinhardsen, two industry veterans with a vision to make property management easier and more efficient.
FDVweb was cloud-based right from the start, which was very early and groundbreaking for its time, giving users access to the solution anywhere, anytime. It all started with a request from a customer who wanted a solution for the operation and maintenance of their office space. This was a time when technological innovations such as Google, which was founded in September 1998 and revolutionized the way we search for information online, were shaping how we used technology in our working lives. After searching the market for a good alternative, they decided to create something completely new, and so FDVweb was born. Cloud-based from the outset, FDVweb was very early and pioneering for its time, giving users access to the solution anywhere, anytime."
FDVweb launch - an industry shift for operations and management
In 1999, CuroTech launched the first cloud-based FM system in Norway. This was a major innovation for the construction and real estate industry, which had previously relied on paperwork and cumbersome documentation. With a simple and intuitive interface, property managers could now handle everything from documentation to maintenance schedules - all in one place."
Growth and development - built on experience and customer understanding
Throughout the 2000s, CuroTech continued to grow. Our first FM coordinators joined us in 2007, and with over 65 years of combined experience, they became an important part of our success. The coordinators help our customers optimize their operations, tailored to their unique needs and building types. This has been crucial in ensuring high customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships.
